Rituals - Unity Candle Ceremony

When couples in love decide to marry, they bring together two families, two backgrounds, two sets of values and beliefs, and these should be celebrated.

The unity candle ceremony is a simple and moving way to do this.

The flame of each candle is emblematic of two souls coming together as one.

Think of this flame as a representation of your individual lives. Your dreams and sorrows, passions and fears, joys and disappointments – all reside within the light of this candle. As the couple give one last look into this singular light, it merges with another.

The two flames begin to burn as one, as the two souls have formed an unbreakable bond. The bond is powerful enough to get through any difficulties and struggles that arise. As love steers the couple through the obstacle course that is married life, they can always remember their lights and therefore their lives, burn brightest when they face life together.

Candles can be supplied as an optional extra by myself and personalised if desired with initials and the date of the ceremony.
