‘…Shelley was great…’

We decided to go with Shelley for our wedding ceremony in May. From the very first contact I made with Shelley over the phone, she was an absolute delight and shown a great sense of understanding as we were going to have our ceremony in the Hindu Temple. Yes! :) #INDIANWEDDING Shelley was great 💯% and did our marriage registration in the Hindu temple. We met couple times before the ceremony. She made it very easy to understand the process and documentation involved in getting married. She also visited temple before the wedding for us to understand the Hindu Indian culture, she even got in touch with priest in the temple to ensure everything run smooth on the day. She was very respectful of the traditions involved in the Hindu Indian marriage + was very respectful towards temple rules and instructions. Shelley was very supportive of everything leading up to the wedding. She even got herself a beautiful Indian dress for the day and we were all like just one little family. She's a beautiful person. Our wedding ceremony was just perfect with her kind, smiling and bubbly nature. Thanks Shelley once again.

Jatin and Diya

Jatin and Diya approached me to marry them in the Shri Ganesha Hindu Temple in Oaklands Park. They invited me into their hearts, home and their Temple where I was made to feel part of the family.

I really love that a wedding ceremony can include reference to your cultural background and heritage. This wedding was gorgeous and I’d previously met with the Chief Priest at the Temple. The ceremony involved a cultural blessing with the Priest followed by our Civil Ceremony. The best of both worlds.

It is such a privilege to work with couples and to share their joy. I wish Jatin and Diya a lifetime of laughter, love and happiness.

As a post script, this wedding has now had another segment with the couple travelling to India and sharing their love in an Indian cultural wedding ceremony with extended family and friends, as it should be …
