Acknowledgement of Country
It’s personal for me to show respect in our community and in this vein I’m adamant that I will always perform an Acknowledgement Of Country at a wedding ceremony, life celebration or baby naming.
Auslan (Australian Sign Language)
After studying Auslan for six years I am committed to offering inclusive ceremonies and meetings in Auslan for clients. I respect and understand Deaf culture in Australia and believe in equality for all.
If you want to have your ceremony in Auslan and if both of your legal witnesses understand Auslan let’s do this using your favourite interpreter.
Rituals - Unity Sand Blending
A Unity Sand Ceremony is a symbolic ritual joining two families providing a lasting memento of your special day.
It’s particularly poignant in a wedding ceremony when couples have children from previous relationships who are acknowledged and able to participate.
Access and Inclusion
You want your wedding day to be stress free and cater for everyone in an inclusive and accessible way. Access and inclusion are a way of life for me. I have close family members living with life changing disabilities including my Mum who has a Traumatic Brain Injury and my Dad who is an Amputee.
